Collin and Courtney had a beautiful day! They were married at their church and celebrated with friends at a local venue. February weddings in northern Indiana can be a gamble, but these two could have made any weather work as thier happiness was intoxicating! Thankfully, we had sun and a gorgeous (and cold) day!
I met Collin and Courtney at their engagement session this past fall, and was so happy to serve them! They are the SWEETEST people on the planet, which makes my job not only easy, but enjoyable as well!
I am sure if you watched me photographing them celebrating their day, you would have seen me with a ginormous grin on my face the entire day. From the sweet gifts Courtney received from her mom, to seeing Courtney's radient smile as she walked down the isle to meet Collin, to the way their friends and siblings talked about them at the toasts, and the laughs shared during the bridal party photos, it was all SO fun for me to be a part of and to capture.
The day started for me, with Courtney getting her make up done by her little sister. I showed up early to get a jump start on the detail shots, and boy did I swoon with her colors!
Then with a last minute "First Look" with her dad, Courtney was ready to see her groom! The ceremony was beautiful, like only a Catholic ceremony can be! Every time I do a Catholic wedding, the breathtaking view gets me.
After the ceremony a bubble exit, family photos, and bridal party photos were in the works! The bubble exit was PERFECT! And we were even able to sneak in some GORGEOUS bride and groom portraits!
The colors, snow, and sun were the in our favor for sure! These bridal party portraits and bride and groom portraits are some of my favorite winter portraits EVER! My feet were completely numb and frozen to the bone by the time we were done, but it was definitely worth it!
Then the party began! With wonderful food, speeches, dances, and laughter, the reception is one that Collin and Courtney will never forget! I am so thankful I was able to be a part of their special day!
